Hillary works with individuals 18+ yrs.

I believe that no one should be alone in their pain. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and founded on the understanding that you are the expert in your own life. With trauma being at the focus of my practice, I am here to support healing and facilitate a greater self-inquiry and deeper self-knowing. I am a trauma-informed, harm reduction, substance use and mental health therapist who works relationally with people. I am committed to the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action and focus on anti-racist and anti-oppressive approaches. I support clients in understanding and working through how dominant and harmful societal norms continue to oppress marginalized and racialized folks. It is my intention to support healing through nervous system recognition, somatic based concepts, while connecting the head and the heart; silencing the head and listening to the body.

I hold a Health Science degree, majoring in Addiction Therapy, paired with a Bachelors degree and a Masters in Social Work. I have been working with those who experience substance use and mental health for 10 years. I am passionate about supporting those impacted by a loved one’s substance use. I uphold the competencies in supporting those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, shame, and powerlessness in their own lives. My hope is to support folks in navigating the complexity of family systems, childhood experiences and assist in their transformation of pain into strength.

I believe nature is healing, connection is key, and community is everything. Therapeutic space is sacred & I recognize the immense vulnerability in showing up and sharing.
