Hello! I’m a student counsellor living in Saskatoon as I complete the last year of my MSW in Indigenous Trauma and Resiliency with the University of Toronto. I am of mixed Anishinaabe-Settler heritage, a member of the Sault Ste Marie tribe in Northern Michigan, and an honoured newcomer to Treaty 6, originally from the States.

As a fellow human in our complex world, my counselling practice acknowledges that there is no magical solution to heal emotional wounds or overcome the injustices baked into society. However, as your counsellor, I can help you recognize your existing strengths and resiliency, identify safe and healthy coping mechanisms, and help you find compassion for yourself while you navigate the challenges in your day-to-day life.

My services are open to individuals from all cultural, identity, and situational backgrounds. I take a trauma-informed and social justice approach to counselling, holding a firm belief that you are the expert in your own healing journey. In our appointments, you’ll find I have an eclectic and flexible counselling style, pulling from several therapy practices, including Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy. Together, we will collaborate to determine an approach, pace, and place that empowers you to explore your emotional landscape just as you are.

Welcome! I’m here to support individuals aged 18 and up on their healing journeys, especially those grappling with disordered eating, chronic dieting, and the emotional weight that comes with body image concerns. If you find yourself caught in the cycle of body checking, strict food rules, or relentless calorie counting, you’re not alone—and I’m here to help you reclaim your relationship with food and your body.

As a Registered Social Worker with an MSW and an Associate Designee of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals Institute, I deeply understand the complexities of these challenges.
